Years/miles, whichever comes first

Nissan vehicles come with a basic warranty which providess coverage for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The powertrain warranty lasts 5 years or 60,000 miles. A powertrain warranty covers the major mechanical components while a basic warranty covers almost everything (except wear and tear parts).
