Years/miles, whichever comes first

A basic warranty for a Mitsubishi covers everything except items that are subject to wear and tear or replacement through the ordinary course of vehicle ownership. The Mitsubishi warranty for 2004 and newer vehicles will cover your vehicle for 5 years or 60,000 miles. The basic Mitsubishi warranty for model years 2003 and earlier offers coverage for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The powertrain warranty lasts 5 years or 60,000 miles, covering major mechanical components.
